Drive letter identification

I would say our second biggest problem is our clients just not plugging in a drive, leaving the wrong one connected or connecting the first one they lay their hands on.

What would be good is if we could get an email about 5pm if either the wrong drive or no drive is connected. At least then we can get on the phone and sort it out. It means we get more good backups and would make us look efficient (which of course we are) to the client too.

I have looked at scripting this and have some ideas but am not very good at scripting so it would take me ages to do. Then it occured to me that it would be a lot better off as a feature in the software.
