bare metal recovery

New to Backup Assist
trying bare metal recovery
seems to boot from recovery media ok ( dvd or usb)
then goes to black screen
tried different servers to recover to ie HP or Fujitsu
any help would be great

Which operating system are you creating the RecoverAssist media from?
What method did you use to create the RecoverAssist media? Was it build from a Microsoft issued installation disk/Windows iso file (which is the recommended method) or from the installed operating system?

If it wasn't built from an installation disk or Windows ISO file, then can you please try this as a live OS may have Windows Updates installed which can change the necessary system files and cause problems with the boot environment. Such an issue has been discussed at viewtopic.php?f=18&t=8113&p=18841.

Hopefully this helps get you over what you're currently seeing.
