Strategy Required

I am looking for some advice on a backup strategy.

I have a Windows 2011 SBS with C: drive and a D: drive partitions, teh C: drive is mainly op system files and programs, the D: drive is the data partition and holds the exchange databases.

I made a full backup and created an ISO recovery disk image when the server was built and I have been running daily file backups and occasional system back ups. I backup to an external USB hard drive.

What is an ideal backup strategy, my priority is full recovery as I never have a need to go back and recover individual files etc.

A basic System Protection backup of the entire system would be typical.

Rotating drives daily off site would be recommended.
