Backup Operator user unable to access control

We have installed 8.2.1 on W2k12R2 server. Administrator can start and use console, but AD backup operator is not able to do so and is prompted for admin log in. Is there a work around to enable backup operator to access console?

It's Stuart here, thanks for posting on our forum.

Did you install BackupAssist on the system when you were logged in as the Backup Operator or the Administrator account?
Typically this shouldn't matter as both should be able to launch the console unless there is some specific policy or permission that isn't allocated to the Backup Operator correctly.
