Would it be possible to have some sort of system to notify users whenever a new version of BackupAssist is released? I know updates are usually mentioned in the monthly newsletter, but it would be nice to know as soon as the update is released so that systems can be updated. Or better yet- an auto-update feature baked right in

Currently the Newsletter, our website and RSS feeds are the only way to receive new release notifications.

We are looking into having alerts issued through the software in a future release of BackupAssist.

In the meantime, I suggest that you subscribe to our release RSS feed by clicking on the 'Subscribe Now' button located at http://www.backupassist.com/blog/catego ... ases/feed/

This will then alert you when we have made a release of the software available for download with all the additional features and fixed issues listed as well.
