Email Messages not sent

We are having a problem sending the email reminder messages from BackupAssist. We are currently running Windows XP Pro & BA Version 3.5.3.

I have tested and received the detection email messages and the test email messages but when the backup job completes I get 11 error messages saying that the email could not be sent because the HOST was not recognized. This option used to work and stopped functioning about a month or 2 ago. I have updated the BackUp Assist software to Version 3.5.3 and ran the detection of mail server settings and sent the test messages with no problems.

Any Ideas?
