I have searched google and this forum, but cannot find an answer. I possibly do not know the correct search words i suspect.
I need to rsync from the client's backupassist server, to our BA server.......but since our servers are Virtual Machines, they do not have local storage.
We use NAS and SAN for storage.
We have DRIVES MAPPED in our VM's.
We followed BA's own setup process to install cwrsyncServer and coppssh, onto our Server 2012 R2 VM.
That was all smooth, thank you.
When i try to Rsync to our Server 2012 R2 VM (which has 2TB free on a mapped drive lets say drive O:\)
the data gets sent to the LOCAL VM account, to say C:\Program Files (x86)\ICW\home\RsyncBUI\O
obviously "O" is the drive i THOUGHT i was sending to as a mapped drive......but Rsync and/or cwRsyncServer places it locally to a folder named "O"
nowhere online says how to change from a local folder "O" to the windows VM host mapped drive of "O"
this is......i dont even know how to get around this, is it easy? am i not asking the right question? Pls help!!!!
