Evaluating BackupAssist

Hi,

I am just evaluating BackupAssist before I consider buying it and had a couple of general questions. I am using the latest version of BackupAssist available from the website on a Windows Small Business Server 2008. I have setup a System Protection backup with a Daily rotating schedule backing up to 2 external USB hard disks (each day I alternate between the two disks), one of which will always be taken off site. I just wanted to confirm with someone that this setup will work and also find out whether or not there is a way to see which disk the next backup is expecting.

Hi Matt,

It's Tim from BackupAssist.

The setup that you have described will work.

As part of your backup setup, you will have prepared your backup disk for a particular day of backup.

To check which drive is required, you can check the Calender in your job settings.

This will list the disk name on the backup date.
