Exchange Granular Restore.

Hi,
when I try to restore a folder within a mailbox I get this errore message:

Error message: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.

backupasssist can not connect to port 443 of the server Exchange but the exchage web access work fine.

I tried a iisreset but the problem persists.

How can I fix the problem?

It's Tim from BackupAssist.

Are you restoring into the original mailbox on the Exchange server?

Look for logs in the event viewer on the server that could point to what is happening when you run the EGR restore.

Also confirm that port 443 is open.

Hi Tim,
Yes, I'm restoring the Exchange server.
In the event log I don't have any special events (no error or warning).
The TCP port 443 is open, the Outlook Web Access work fine.
No firewall means (the backupasssist is installed on the Exchange server).
I also enabled by powershell the Exchange impersonation of administrator, the user used by backupasssit.
I'm using version 8.20 with previous versions (always I had already made other restore without problems.

Sorry to hear that the problem persists.

Are you using the FQDN or the IP address for the server name in EGR?

If possible, please send in a screen shot of the EGR screen to support@backupassist.com for the support team to review.

I tried both the ip address that with FQDN.
I will send the customer a screenshot as required.
