Backups are being missed because users shutdown computer.

We're using BA for several workstations with multiple users. We've tried out best to convey to our users not to shut down these workstations but that never seems to hold. We're missing backups because a user will shutdown the workstation and it will miss it's schedule. Is there any settings to have BA automatically start a past missed backup the next time a user turns on a workstation that missed its backup schedule?

Hello,

It's Michael from support.

I'm sorry, but there really is no facility in BackupAssist to autoamticly rerun a backup based on it failing.

You may be able to setup a script that runs at the domain level, that would auto start any workstations that are not currently running.
Should you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact me - I'd be glad to assist you.

Thank You,
Michael R. Jones
