Installed v.8.4.5r1 and all jobs/history/reports are gone

Seems the install just wiped the Program Data\BackupAssist v8 folder! That's not great! Good thing I had an old backup of that folder. Is there a setting in the installation process to prevent this?

Hello,

It is likely just a glitch of the service.

Try stopping the program.

Then stop and restart the BackupAssist Service.

Recheck the program for previous jobs and history.

If they are not there, please send us an email so we can address it.
