Bakup SharePoint 2010 with VSS

I'm trying to set up BackupAssist on our SharePoint 2010 server.

Our system (all running on one server)

Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit
SharePoint 2010 (a one server Farm)
SQL 2008
BackupAssist 6.2.1 using the Zip engine to backup to a tape.

The screenshots in this article (http://www.backupassist.com/education/a ... store.html) clearly show SharePoint as an option for VSS backups. I do see SQL on my server, and OSearch14, but that's all.

I understand from Microsoft's documentation that this would be the best way to backup Sharepoint as it would get both the content data, farm settings and features, solutions and other site settings.

SharePoints VSS service is running, and I do see the settings for it if I run "vssadmin list writers". I also see it in the regestry in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\VSS\Diag

This article here (http://www.backupassist.com/blog/suppor ... r-imaging/) says there should be a registry entry here: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WindowsServerBackup\Application Support, but I don't actually have the WindowsServerBackup in my registry (even though that feature is installed).

Any ideas?
Thanks.
